How do I change my current payment method?

If you pay for your licence annually by credit or debit card

If you currently pay for your licence by debit or credit card and would like to switch to pay by Direct Debit you can do this by signing in to renew your next licence.

If you would like to switch a TV Licensing payment card

To apply for a TV Licensing payment card please complete our online form.

Apply for a TV Licence payment card.

If you pay by Direct Debit and would like to update your payment date

If you currently pay by Direct Debit and would like to change the date we take your payment, you do this by signing in and updating your details online.

Sign in to your licence.

If you pay by Direct Debit or TV Licensing payment card and would like to switch how often you pay

If you’d like to switch payment frequency, e.g. from yearly to monthly, or move to a different payment method, e.g. from TV Licensing payment card to one of our Direct Debit schemes, you’ll need to get in touch with us to do this.
