What changes are being made to the free over 75 TV Licence?

From 1 June 2020 free over 75 TV Licences, funded by the Government, will come to an end. There will be a new policy which means that anyone who is aged 75 or over and receiving Pension Credit will receive a free licence, paid for by the BBC.

Anyone aged over 75 but not receiving Pension Credit will need to pay for a licence if they need one.
