If you are a customer of Lloyds TSB, NatWest or RBS, and you have an online bank account, you can renew your TV Licence online using your bank's free online bill management service.
This will let you:
Pay for your next TV Licence directly from your online bank account.
Check the status of your TV Licence.
View your payment plan if you pay by Direct Debit.
Receive your TV Licence by email instead of by post.
Please note that online bill management is only available to current TV Licence holders. If you do not yet have a TV Licence, you can buy one online by setting up a Direct Debit or using your credit or debit card.
Please also note that online bill management is not available for customers who pay for their TV Licence using a cash payment plan or TV Licensing savings card or customers who live in the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.
Different banks have different names for their online bill management services. For example, with Lloyds TSB it's called 'Bill Manager', while RBS and NatWest call theirs 'Bill Management'.
Either way, once you know how to use the service for your online bank account, you simply need to choose 'TV Licensing' as a payee from the list of options given on your bank's website when it's time to renew your TV Licence.
