The TV Licensing savings card is for people who already have a TV Licence and would like an easy way to save for their next licence. You can deposit savings whenever you like with a minimum payment of just £2. It’s free to apply for a card and there is no charge for using it.

We’ll send you a statement each quarter. You can check your balance online or by calling 0845 155 0327. It takes 24 hours from the time you make a deposit for it to show on your savings card. |

We have a record of every deposit you make. Even if you lose the card your money is safe. The money you save can only be used to pay for your TV Licence. No one else can take your savings or use it to buy their TV Licence. |

If you haven’t saved enough we’ll contact you to let you know how much you need to pay to renew your licence. You can pay the balance at any of the places listed below. If you’ve saved more money than you need to pay for your licence it will be put towards your TV Licence for the following year. |

You can use cash or debit cards at any PayPoint outlet. These are located in many newsagents and convenience stores.
